The following directions are for storing a file such as a spreadsheet or word document directly to the CNDA. These files MUST be completely free from PHI. The file will need to be associated with a session already available.

Navigate to a Session Details page
Click Manage Files in the Actions box

The File Manager window opens

Click Add Folder

(Unless a folder has been previously created for this purpose)

Fill out the form similar to below using an appropriate name in the Folder field
(changing Format as needed such as DOCX, PDF)
Click Create

From the File Manager window-
Click Upload Files

Fill out the form as follows
  • Level: Resources
  • Folder: previously created directory
  • Format: csv (or whatever format the file is such as DOCX, XLSX, etc.)

Click browse and select file to upload
Click Open when finished
Rename the file if needed
Click Upload


The file is now stored in the location specified.


Other users will be able download this file as needed
